Colorado Access Renews Partnership with UST HealthProof

ALISO VIEJO, CA (May 6, 2025) — UST HealthProof, a leading provider of BPaaS solutions for health plans, has announced the extension of its partnership with Colorado Access. The agreement reinforces their shared commitment to cost management, workflow improvement, and operational excellence across core administrative functions at Colorado Access.

Since beginning their collaboration in 2022, Colorado Access and UST HealthProof have successfully modernized the health plan’s operations through an integrated core administration ecosystem. UST HealthProof ecosystem is a cloud-based solution, powered by UST HealthProof Integrations and UST HealthProof’s Engagement Plus with HealthEdge’s HealthRules (HRP) platform at the core, has automated and streamlined key processes, delivering significant performance improvements.

Under the renewed contract, UST HealthProof will provide enhanced services to Colorado Access, including claims audit and workflow automation and optimization. These additional services will be delivered using existing UST HealthProof platform capabilities, further strengthening operational value without increasing cost.

In the first six months following implementation, Colorado Access achieved a high claim processing accuracy, high auto-adjudication and first pass rate (over 90%) with reduced manual workloads across enrollment and claims workflows. These improvements enabled the health plan to lower its total cost of ownership and create internal capacity to take on additional responsibilities. Post-implementation, the UST HealthProof partnership leverages its BPaaS services in a flexible, cost-efficient manner with predictable operating costs to configure new lines of business and has delivered operating results that meet key metrics across Colorado Access business teams.
